12.Data Retention

We may retain User Personal Information as long as the User Account is active, as set out in this Privacy Policy or as otherwise necessary for the provision of our Services.

We may continue to retain such Personal Information even after the User Account has been deactivated and/or the use of any particular Service has ceased, to the extent reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes concerning our Users, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with contracts entered into and/or protect our legitimate interests.

We have a data retention policy in place which we apply to the information we are provided with. If we no longer need the User's Personal Information, we will ensure that it is securely deleted.

13. Security

This Site treats user data lawfully and fairly, taking appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification or unauthorized destruction of data. The processing is carried out by means of computer and/or telematic tools, with organizational methods and with logic strictly related to the purposes indicated.

The site uses a secure connection via secure HTTPS access, so the transmission of personal information through our forms is protected by an industry standard SSL/TLS encrypted connection.

Regardless of the measures and efforts taken, we cannot and do not guarantee the absolute protection and security of your Personal Information.

We encourage Users to set up complex passwords for their User Accounts and to avoid providing us with sensitive information whose disclosure could result in substantial or irreparable damage.

In addition, because some areas of our Services are less secure than others (for example, setting up a "public" request instead of "private" in the forum or browsing a non-SSL page) and because email and instant messaging are not recognized as secure forms of communication, we encourage Users not to share any sensitive Personal Information in any of these areas or through any of these methods.

14. Public forums and user content

Our Services can offer publicly accessible blogs, communities and support forums. You should be aware that any information you provide in these areas may be read, collected and used by others who have access to it. To request removal of your Personal Information from our blogs, communities or forums, please contact us at the addresses provided in  Paragraph 16 below.

In some cases, we may not be able to remove the User's Personal Information from those areas. For example, if the User uses a third party application to post a comment (e.g., Facebook social plugin application) while logged into that third party profile, the User must either login to that application or contact their provider if they wish to remove the Personal Information posted on the platform.

In any case, we recommend not to post in these areas information (or use means to post information) that is not intended to be published on these platforms.

Users understand and acknowledge that even after removal, copies of User Content may remain visible in the cache or archives or if third parties have copied or stored such User Content.

For the sake of clarity, we do not recommend uploading or posting information that the user does not wish to make public.

15. Updates and Interpretation

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy as required by applicable law and in order to reflect changes in our practices for collecting, using and storing information. If we make a change that is deemed "material" (in our sole discretion in good faith), we will notify the Customer (by one of the methods of notice set out in Section 9 of the Terms and Conditions) before the change takes effect. We encourage Users to periodically review this page for current information about our privacy practices.

Unless otherwise stated, our current Privacy Policy applies to all information we hold about Users with respect to our Site and other Services.

This Privacy Policy has been prepared in Italian and may be translated into other languages for convenience only. Users may access and view other language versions by changing the language settings of the Site. If a translated version (not in Italian) of these Terms of Use conflicts in any way with the respective Italian version, the provisions of the Italian version shall prevail.
